About Rental Units

House

It's a shared house with private rooms, shared bathroom, kitchen and living room area. The rooftop terrace has sunlight all day long and amazing views over Funchal Bay and the atlantic ocean. During the day you can see the boats in the harbour of funchal. After a day of adventures the rooftop is the place where you can share experiences and recommendations with other guests.

Everyday we get fresh bread at the door from the local baker, very traditional madeiran style.

Location

The House is located 10 minutes walk from the center of Funchal, Sao Tiago beach, the Mercado dos Lavradores, the Cable Car, the old town with many restaurants, bars, and the central bus station for transport to all destinations of the island.

I can also offer an apartment with air conditioning, swimming pools, and spa with a whirlpool, sauna, and fitness room. In the same building in the ground floor is a big lounge for socializing. You can get drinks from the bar, watch live events like football matches on a big screen, listen to live music on certain days of the week, also free wifi is available.

The neighborhood offers a lot opportunities in walking distance for relaxing in a bar, having lunch or dinner in a restaurant, going shopping in the forum shopping center, or swimming at the local beach just 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment. It's also possible if you want to use the public transportation to explore Funchal city which is 3 kilometers away.
